At Stack, we underwent several fundraising rounds, starting with friends, family, and grants, progressing to accelerators, Pre-seed, and Seed rounds, and most recently, an intermediary round. In total, we managed to raise 3 million from 11 investors. However, to reach this point, we had to interact with nearly 250 investors. Essentially, 239 of them turned us down. Considering we were all first-time co-founders with no significant prior network or knowledge of fundraising, I believe our journey to success is quite an interesting story. In this article, I aim to share our detailed journey - how a group of first-time founders from the Republic of Georgia, with no prior experience, managed to raise 3 million in funding.
