I love contemplating the future world and analyzing technological advancements through a variety of lenses, even philosophical. I remember reading an article by Tim Urban titled "AI Revolution," which detailed the challenges of future prediction and the rapidly diminishing timeframe it would take to be ‘dead’ out of the shock by witnessing the changes when travelling into the future.
Indeed, attempting to predict the state of the world in ten years might seem absurd. Yet, it is an entertaining exercise.
Furthermore, I also remember once Jeff Bezos saying that while contemplating the changes the future might bring is exciting, it is important to consider the things that won't change over the next decade. This unchanging core, he suggested, forms the foundation for building a strong business.
So, I intend to spend more time on this, do some research, add my thoughts to it and produce an article about the world in ten years - discussing both the potential changes and the things that will remain the same. If not accurate, it could be even more amusing to read it in ten years. So, why not?
